Accounting Associate

As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee our accounting operations. This person is a key resource for the firm and will assist the Chief Financial Officer with the firm’s accounting activities including budget maintenance, verifying all financial transactions and preparing monthly financial reports. A successful candidate will possess a high level of initiative, professionalism, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
• Responsible for all journal entries and monthly bank reconciliations
• Responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing
• Responsible for accurate and timely accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Annual audit coordination and liaison with external auditors
• Assist with Federal and State tax returns, quarterly estimated payments, BWC and CAT filings
• Assist with budgeting process

• Undergraduate degree is required; Accounting, Finance or relevant
• Current State of Ohio CPA license preferred
• 3 -5 years relevant Accounting experience
• Experience using Peachtree/Sage 50 preferred
• High ethical standards
• Critical thinking skills, problem solving abilities and a high attention to detail
• Able to multi-task and remain organized and focused in a high-paced environment
