Front End Engineer

CLEAR is an innovative, fast-paced company searching for driven Front End Engineer, who will be responsible for developing next-gen biometric applications on a variety of platforms. This role is more than just a development position as the right candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with users – such as in airports and stadiums – to ensure that the right solutions are created to ensure our platform is integrated seamlessly. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter to make visible contributions to the development, growth, and enhancement of our platform.

* Develop new tablet applications utilizing various biometric hardware and integrate with existing services * Evaluate biometric hardware and develop proof-of-concept applications, both rich-client and mobile. * Integrate our biometric platform with external partners in a variety of industries * Develop and enhance our shared code platform to be allow us to be flexible on hardware platforms, allowing code re-use across Windows, iOS, and Android. * Support exiting .NET and Android kiosks and tablets * Work directly with users in airports and stadiums * Adhere to best practices for testing and designing reusable code

* 8+ years of experience of Front-End Engineering, including designing, developing and delivering software related to platforms * Solid experience with C#, WPF, Android (Xamarin) * BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or related fields. Masters degree a plus. * Experience with Agile methodologies is highly desirable * Experience building out mock-ups and client demonstrations * Prefer working knowledge of a wide range of technologies, including: * Software development methodologies * Web development methodologies * Strong knowledge of Android * Strong system knowledge of Linux environments * Knowledge in Amazon’s AWS ecosystem is desirable * Excellent judgment and creative problem solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills * Exceptional customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches * Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask * Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive with flawless execution * Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to be effective * Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker
