Summary

We are currently looking for experienced consultants to assist our customers and partners in deploying/integrating customer solutions with Citrix networking products. As well as deep technical knowledge, this job may involve some project management and opportunity scoping and customer expectation management. Primary focus will be on the Citrix world-beating Netscaler and Cloudbridge products.

Responsibilities

Performs on-site and remote network design, configuration, integration, troubleshooting and installation of Citrix networking products and solutions.
Assist clients with assigned tasks and projects such as overall architecture review and project management.
This job may require the ability to travel, and being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).

Ideal Candidate

**Required General Qualifications**

* A minimum of five years full-time experience, accompanied by an undergraduate degree.
* Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to successfully articulate and transfer complex ideas to a wide audience.
* The ability to work well with all levels of customer employees and management, and to be self-motivated and flexible.
* The ability to work both with and without direct supervision.
* Ability to pro-actively manage project risks and customer expectations to ensure a successful project outcome.
* Ability to travel up to 80% throughout the US and Canada.

**Required Technical Qualifications**

* Experience with application delivery controllers in an enterprise/IT environment. Previous experience with at least one industry leading ADC/load balancer, such as Citrix NetScaler, Cisco ACE, F5.
* Knowledgeable of networking protocols (BGP, IGP, and IS-IS. Familiar with Cisco EIGRP and IGP), application protocols (DNS, FTP, HTTP), and authentication protocols (AAA, RADIUS, Diameter, LDAP).
* Knowledge of IP network infrastructure: L2/L3 networking, security, network management, performance management.
* Advanced Networking concepts (Firewalls, Network Security, SDN, IDS)Server Virtualization and Storage Technology is a plus.

**Desired  Qualifications**

* Deep skills with Citrix Products and Technologies.
* Understanding of server operating environments, including a strong background in UNIX.
* Ability to apply a thorough understanding of IP routing and TCP and UDP service provision in environments that are technically complex and also may be complex from an organizational perspective.
* Strong understanding of the OSI networking model as well as protocols such as HTTP, SSL and other server concepts.
* Experience with REST,  SOAP or WSDL based web services.
