Software Engineer - Collaboration Technology Group

• Design, build and strategize testing for various components of our TelePresence, voice and video solutions.
• Development of test plan and test cases for new products/features
• Design of test topologies and building of test beds.
• Execute tests, tracking and logging of issues and driving till resolution with verification of bug fixes.
• Work closely with development engineers to reproduce, analyze and debug internal test failures as well as customer found defects.
• Interact with marketing and development engineer to understand market/customer/product requirements to ensure that the delivered product meets specifications; review of product requirement, software specifications, Test plans, and other documentation.
• Initiate and participate in organizational efforts to improve overall group productivity and test effectiveness. Contribute to overall test strategies development, resource allocation planning, task/project scheduling, and test process definition/improvement.
• Participate in cross-functional, cross-BU test effort.
• Support customers with complex problem resolution

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS + 5 - 10 Years of experience
• CCNA (networking or voice)
• Experience with testing, deployment, customer support

Desired Skills

• CCNP (voice)/ CCIE
• Deployment experience with Cisco Collaboration technologies such as CUCM, VCS, TMS, UCxN, TelePresence server and VoIP phones and video endpoints
