Software Developer

• Develop reuseable test designs and test cases within an agile model
• Focus is on automation, but some manual test planning work is required
• Participate in the agile/SCRUM process and collaborate with development and production team throughout all stages of the SDLC
• Produce and maintain useful and usable documentation of work, and contribute regularly to the general Engineering body of knowledge
• Execute deep-dive QA forensics - providing extensive issue analysis & decomposition
• Define and refine solutions to big-data technical challenges
• Identify test priorities across an n-tier technology stack

Minimum Qualifications

• MS in computer science or BS plus 2 years related experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving skills
• Strong Understanding of software engineering skills and QA/Test and automation methodologies
• Experience with testing SaaS based solution considered favorably
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies

Desired Skills

• Core java expertise
• Strong DB/SQL skills
• Experience with one or more automation tools, automation frameworks and test scripting tools.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies in data by writing queries and comparative analysis.
• Experience using technical documents such as business requirements, functional requirements, database design representations, data and systems flow diagrams.
