Risk Analyst - Mobile Application Review Team

Mobile Application Review Team (MART) along with The Customer Verification & Research Center (CVRC) plays a critical role for the firm in reviewing all Existing and New to Firm clients in accordance with Schwab standards for credit and transactional acceptance for the Remote Deposit Capture service. The MART works with various groups throughout the firm in these capacities.

• This Risk Analyst position will require the ability to work with a diverse team responsible for performing and executing the firm's client review for Remote Deposit Capture service.
• This is a very fast paced, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven position.
• As part of our analysis work, we also strive for continuous process improvement.
• The successful candidate will have a track record of demonstrable success in these types of environments, as well.

• As a Risk Analyst, you will use your strong analytical skills and prior securities industry experience to perform the following functions:

  • Verifying our client's identity
  • SSN verifications
  • Risk-based investigative searches
  • Fraud Detection--ID Theft Prevention
  • Working with 3rd party sources
  • Corresponding with the field
  • Answering hotline calls
  • Sending letters.

• 1-3 years of experience in the securities industry preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Solid understanding of Schwab policies, procedures, products and services preferred
• Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple processes
• Identifies and recommends solutions to basic issues impacting Risk and/or Controls
• Performs analysis using quantitative and qualitative data from various information vendors
• Series 7 & 63 licenses highly preferred
