The Senior Product Marketing Manager is a hands-on driver of ChannelAdvisor’s go-to-market strategy responsible for developing effective product positioning and messaging, sales enablement collateral and market intelligence. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will own and execute new product launches, working closely with product management, sales, account management, services and marketing to drive business growth and achieve financial goals.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for e-commerce product line.
- Develop product messaging and positioning that differentiates ChannelAdvisor’s products in the market.
- Own product launches by developing the product marketing strategy launch plans for new products and releases and managing the cross-functional implementation of the plans.
- Create relevant and timely marketing collateral including sales presentations, product data sheets, web content, webinars, blogs, social media and more.
- Perform detailed market opportunity analysis, including market research, segmentation, key trends and changes, buyer personas and competitive analysis
- Understand the market, the competition and how ChannelAdvisor wins. Develop sales tools that clearly communicate competitive differentiators, objection handling and positioning strategies.
- Contribute to demand generation efforts by delivering product content and participating in activities for the marketing programs that drive demand for ChannelAdvisor’s products.
- Serve as the product thought leader, delivering presentations to customers, partners, prospects, press, industry analysts, sales and executive management.
- 7+ years of product marketing experience in enterprise IT software and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
- Strong strategic marketing skillset, able to hone in on the core value proposition and customer benefit of the product.
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills including the ability to create and deliver effective presentations.
- The ability to own projects from start to finish.
- The ability to be a strong, consistent and clear voice at the table.
- Proven success working with product management to support product strategy, direction and launches.
- A demonstrated history of partnering with sales to drive growth.
- Knowledge of the e-commerce industry is desirable. Modern digital marketing experience is a plus.
- Willing to travel 25%.
