- Responsible for local HS&E focus within the warehouse
- Participate in station safety committee
- Ensures compliance with all equipment inspections
- Responsible for all product related regulatory compliance
- Enforce local station security protocol
- Lead with passion, exemplifying CEVA’s values
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, and motivate qualified staff to execute business strategy
- Drive employee performance review process
- Supports business development direction for local BD to build local market strategy
- Support customer-facing activity for key targets and critical customers for product
- Supports new and innovative approaches to achieve competitive advantages in local market for product
- Responsible for all transportation related freight handling, ground, exports, imports, gateway
- Responsible for warehouse KPIs and ensure operational excellence “Impeccable Execution”
- Escalation point for operational issues and responsible for driving immediate corrective actions
- Ensures operations in compliance with CEVA business rules and government regulations
- Ensure appropriate, properly trained, staff to perform warehouse operations
- Guarantee a sustainable service level to meet customer demand
- Responsible for productivity standards/KPIs
- Responsible for Quality (ISO) standards and initiatives for product as defined by BPE
- Responsible for claim evaluation and escalation
- Accountable for ensuring that processes are aligned with internal and external compliance
- Perform process review and improvements, and corrective actions
- Perform ZDS methodology for product business implementations
- Implement and manage local processes
- Procurement
- High School Degree or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred; or an equivalent combination of work experience and completion of the LDP Program.
- Minimum five years related work experience required.
- Minimum three years supervisory or management experience required.
- Minimum four years industry experience preferred. PC literate.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
- Valid state issued driver's license.
- Forklift Driver Certification.
- DOT Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Materials Certification
- Knowledgeable of DOT Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Materials regulations and guidelines.
- In-depth knowledge of all products and services.
- Ability to manage the financial aspects of the department (purchasing, budget preparation and review, financial reporting and monitoring expenses).
- Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; and develops and sustains productive relationships.
- Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions.
- Allocates decision making authority and/or task responsibilities to others to maximize the organization's and individuals' effectiveness.
- Explore alternatives and positions to reach outcomes that gain all parties' support and acceptance.
- Analyzes complex problems and develops alternative solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in influencing departments and implementing and managing change.
- Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple projects and set priorities.
- Basic understanding and experience in project management methodologies.
- Develops and uses collaborative relationships to accomplish work goals; develops individual relationships by listening, sharing ideas and appreciating others' efforts.
- Maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition; handling stress in a manner that is acceptable to others and the organization.
- Use appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team and facilitate the completion of team goals.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Ability to drive and/or operate forklift, hand truck and pallet jack.
