CentralReach is looking for a UX Designer to join our growing creative team headquartered in Fort Lauderdale/Pompano Beach. We are looking for someone who craves the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, small company with a hands-on executive team. Our team values feedback on business processes and software updates for users, so you can expect decisions to be made fast and improvements to be implemented often.
- Work in fast paced, small team environment
- Lead, inspire, and work directly with the UX Director, executive team, and developers
- Conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping new and existing features for our core product(s)
- Advocating for best of breed experience design and design thinking
- Moving seamlessly from whiteboard sketches and paper prototypes to interactive prototypes with the support of our in-house Front-end Developers
- Presenting designs to internal stakeholders and other team members
- Establishing, maintaining, and evolving a set of design patterns and standards
- Pairing with developers to design the presentation layer
- Delivering design work on programs of any size with minimal oversight
- Effectively negotiating trade-offs with product development and engineering
- Analyze results of A/B testing and website changes to determine the success of design projects and come up with new ideas
People who enjoy their work, approach it with passion, and possess a mindset that looks for ways to get the impossible done rather than reasons why it can’t be done. Ability to communicate and collaborate in a small team environment is a must. In addition, you must have:
- Design Tools: Mastery of Photoshop and Illustrator
- Front end Technologies: In-depth knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, JQuery and Javascript (Knockout a plus)
- A STRONG portfolio of user interface design and your design process
- Sound knowledge of web and mobile technologies, and iOS and Android design philosophy
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of digital design experience
- UX experience in web and desktop applications (preferably SaaS-related)
- Experience solving complex UX problems
- Extensive experience in prototyping applications and user testing
