Summary

The Staff Assistant provides administrative assistance to the following groups, 1, Regional Manager and 6, Digital Solution Engineers, 1 Systems Manager and 6, Engineers, Training Administration and support of the 2, Instructors and 11, Technical Support Center. Located in Irvine, Calif., the Staff Assistant provides administrative assistance to regional management, Digital Solutions Engineers and training team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the region in support of Training to insure timely processing of training enrollments and certifications. - Processing of applications and class rosters using Sum Total. - Verify pre-requisites for class attendance and verify dealer certification in Dealer Profile
  • Maintain the Regional Dealer Database to include the following information
  • Maintain all dealer information in S-21 (Key Contact Name, Service Manager Name)
  • Maintain Regional Technical Connections Seminar Database.
  • Provide administrative support for the Dealer Management Center on e-Support.
  • Provide e-Support ID and password to all dealer requests within 24 hours
  • Manage and maintain Regional files, records and databases as outlined in the Canon Records Disposition Procedures.
  • Assist regional management with the administrative activities required by smART.
  • Support the Engineering and Technical Summit Providing onsite administrative support.
  • Responsible for ordering parts and office supplies for Administration, TSC and Training and Systems personnel.
  • Process all part and supply orders for Training, Regional Systems and Hardware Support and the Technical Support Center.
  • Process all travel requests
Ideal Candidate
  • High school/trade school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience.
  • Detail oriented and organized with strong computer, customer service and organizational skills.
  • Must have MS Office proficiency including Word and Excel at the intermediate level
