Industrial Design Summer Intern

Canary is the world's first smart home security device for everyone. Canary contains an HD video camera and sensors that track everything from temperature and air quality to vibration, sound, and movement.

We are seeking an Industrial Design Intern to help us achieve our goal of transforming way people think about connecting to physical places, their families and their communities while working closely with our Design team.

• Developing strategy based on market research
• Product concept development through sketching, 3D modeling and prototyping
• Presentation development and delivery

• Must be a current student (undergraduate or graduate) OR Have completed studies within the last six months
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign
• Working knowledge of Alias or Rhino
• Working knowledge of Pro/e or Solidworks
• Must have understanding of Aesthetics
• Must have strong sketching abilities
• Ability to design with the complete experience in mind
• Ability to articulate thoughts clearly and concisely
• Candidate should be self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
