UX/UI Designer

* Responsibly and effectively advocate for users in a corporate climate; imparting day-to-day design guidance that fosters a shared understanding of the customer-centric intersection between design, content, business and marketing values. * Create wireframes, user flows, storyboards, functional prototypes. * Refine navigation and site map information architecture. * Create visual designs (a plus). * Strategize and execute common usability testing practices: ethnographic research, personas, online user testing, and multivariate testing. * Open to feedback and know when and how to defend design choices. * Contribute to our process and shared knowledge, and help to evolve our way of working.

* 8-10 years of work experience in Interaction Design or Interface Design. * Education in interaction design, graphic design, or related field or equivalent experience. * A strong portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions. * A clean sense of design aesthetics, and a natural propensity towards simplification. * Deeply committed to producing work that is useable, intuitive and intelligent. * The curiosity of a scientist and the passion of an artist. * Define patterns and advocate for consistency, without repressing inspiration or inhibiting innovation. * Understand and develop usability patterns, data interactions, and workflows. * A highly refined eye for good typography, design and layout. * Complete understanding of Adobe Creative Suite and/or other tools for creation of deliverables.
