Technology Operations Project Manager

This is a newly created position responsible for the project management for programs supporting our end-user services group including help desk, computing devices, user provisioning, identity management and collaboration tools (Office 365). This individual will back up multiple back offices such as new helpdesk for order fulfillment, etc. This leader will manage Brookdale’s operations projects including planning, resource sourcing, risk management, RFP oversite, conflict resolution and program status reporting. Fosters project management as a discipline throughout organization through the creation of tools, education, and mentoring of associates. The ability to partner with teams across IT and the business is the key to success along with the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidate will be team oriented, results driven while fostering a fun, collaborative environment.

* Develops and maintains project plans and schedules to manage strategic projects from initiation through full implementation. Includes planning, budgeting, fostering business case process, resource modeling, resource sourcing, project process and documentation, team management, troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure successful completion of projects on schedule and budget. * Remains current on project management techniques, skills, and tools and recommends enhancements for organization. Embraces mentoring others in project management across enterprise creating a center of excellence for project management. Experience with agile, lean, ITIL and other approaches. * Develops strong relationships and maintains effective communication channels. Consults with others on development and execution of project plans. Defines practice and process for managing expectations. * Identify and propose new information technologies and systems to improve business processes and decision making. * Manages projects of various sizes. Presents project updates for cross functional meetings, as well as executive stakeholders under the guidance of the Director. Plans and coordinate activities of multi-team projects in a matrix managed and cross-functional organization. Ensures project management and documentation in accordance with company standards. * Maintains high levels of partnership across organization, ensuring solutions orientated culture while fostering positive team environment.

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience. PMP certification or equivalent experience * 3-5 years of IT project management experience preferably with PC’s, networking, server, datacenter, WAN/LAN, wireless projects. * Travel up to 50%. * Management/Decision Making
