Bridg helps marketing and finance teams analyze their data to better understand every customer's value and market to their interests across multiple channels.
Bridg is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who will jump right into hands-on DevOps engineering and collaborate with our development and operations teams to lead the creation of DevOps solutions that scale with our rapid growth.
- Work alongside internal teams to create and deliver solutions
- Design and implement AWS solutions for key pieces of infrastructure for deployment, monitoring, alerting, data storage, and security
- Evaluate new tools and technologies based on feature requirements, cost effectiveness, and reliability
- Revisit existing infrastructure with a fresh perspective to suggest improvements and optimizations
- Contribute to best practices; create diagrams and documentation where appropriate and participate in stand ups with the engineering team
- Collaborate directly with the CTO and CPO to define team strategy and technical roadmap, and drive the rapid adoption of appropriate technologies
What you need
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Experience with DevOps approach where automation is king: Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Configuration Management CloudFormation, Salt, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, CircleCI, etc.
- Experience with Docker tooling and ecosystem
- Track record of AWS and Linux experience
- Experience with Amazon RDS and one or more of Elastic MapReduce (EMR), DynamoDB, Redshift
- Expertise with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, NewRelic, and open source alternatives
- AWS Certification preferred but not essential: SysOps and/or Solutions Architect ideal
- Self starter with excellent communication skills, written and spoken
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent practical experience. MS Preferred.
- Proven experience in the design, implementation and delivery of sophisticated infrastructure.
- Extensive AWS cloud experience (EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation)
