Interactive Creative Director

Brainstorm Creative Resources is a recruiting and staffing firm that places creative and editorial professionals into freelance and full-time positions with employers in and around Washington, DC.

• Lead creative strategy across firm clients

• Manage an existing and growing team of designers and videographers, mentoring junior staff

• Develop and present creative strategy to top firm clients, including concepting, writing, and art directing

• Raise and maintain overall creative quality of firm deliverables

• Develop firm creative point of view based on rigorous analytical testing

• Manage overall creative development process, including developing processes for both internal and external resources

• Experienced creative director with 10 years of agency experience
• Knowledge of design and advertising fundamentals, including interaction design, experience design, brand development, digital marketing and the creative process, as well as new/emerging platforms and technologies
• Experience with consumer, public affairs, and political creative challenges
• Well versed in current creative best practices across multiple channels, particularly based in digital and mobile
• Ability to shift from big-picture strategy conversations to the details of executing work to perfection
• Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and dive in on projects
• Engaging storyteller with the ability to present to new and existing clients
• Curious and upbeat personality, good sense of humor, and ability to roll with the punches
