Research Scientist for Deep Learning

- Drive adoption of Deep Learning (DL) based systems into next-generation of Bosch products
- Build prototypes of DL systems to show proof-of-concepts and transfer to Bosch business units
- Research and develop novel deep architectures and algorithms
- Continuously evaluate state-of-art deep learning algorithms and advances in DL software frameworks
- Publish research findings in top conferences and journals
- Establish strong tie-ups with DL experts in academia through collaborations and joint scientific publications
- PhD in Computer Science or related disciplines with 3+ years of experience in with focus on Deep Learning, neural networks and/or feature discovery
- In depth knowledge of different aspects of deep learning including architectural design (CNN, RNN, LSTM, dropout, pooling etc.) and optimization
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms & principles, and numerical optimization
- Proven programming skills, in at least two of the following languages: C, C++, Python, Java, Scala
- Experience working with GPUs and sensor data processing is desired
- Familiarity with DL frameworks such as Caffe, Theano, Torch or TensorFlow with strong experience in at least one of them
- Strong publication record (e.g. NIPS, ICML, AAAI, ICLR) required
