Copywriter – Mobile Apps

The copywriter is responsible for conceptual development and copy deliverables for Booking.com’s mobile applications. You’ll work closely with e-commerce product owners, web designers, developers and language specialists in order to create copy that can be easily translated into 42 other languages.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who excels at writing inspirational content and conversion driven microcopy.

• Writing copy that drives conversion and engagement
• Using data and key metrics to measure the impact of various copy requests and transform those insights into measurable ideas
• Iterating copy based on internal feedback, data, and usability research
• Working closely with product owners to align your copy ideas/suggestions with quarterly business objectives
• Communicating this copy and the “story” behind it to language specialists in such a way that they fully understand what they are translating, and can do the best job possible for their audience
• Working with fellow copywriters and others to ensure that customer-facing copy is consistent across all company platforms
• Researching, creating and testing new copy ideas

• Fluency in English and at least one other language
• Excellent communication skills and an impeccable eye for detail
• Strong commercial focus and the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
• At least 4 years experience in online copywriting. Experience writing for mobile platforms preferred.
• Ability to generate copy and concepts that resonate user’s needs and facilitate business goals
• Ability to work well independently and within a team–along with a “can do” attitude
