Summary

We are actively seeking an SEO/SEM and E-commerce Strategist. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to further increase revenue derived from our search engine activities across our clientele.

Responsibilities

This also includes having an understanding of other e-commerce tactics such as conversion analysis, Google analytics, search engine marketing advertising such as Google Adwords and Product listings ads, and anything else that helps drive revenue online.
This position requires a progressive, on-the-spot, creative problem solver who demonstrates both technical and analytical excellence.

Ideal Candidate

- 2+ years of Search Engine Optimization experience across all major search engines
- Demonstrated success in both the strategic creation and tactical execution of SEO initiatives preferably in highly-competitive, non-branded, consumer oriented industries
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills with the ability to prioritize growth opportunities based on financial impact
- Proven ability in the establishment of key performance indicators to measure success and the creation of technology to effectively and efficiently track results
- Clear understanding of ROI analysis and experience managing a P&L statement
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and hands-on environment
- Bachelor’s Degree with a track record of success in both academics and career to date
- Adwords/PLA or other Google product buying experience is a plus.
- Prior work experience in programming or other technology oriented positions is a plus
- Experience editing existing Web applications.
- Experience making and editing HTML templates and using CSS.
- Familiar with FTP and backing up files.
- Knowledge with other server side languages such as: ASP, .NET, CFM, or JSP is a plus.
- Experience editing WordPress, Drupal, Magento & other CMS platforms is a plus.
- Experience with URL rewrites.
- Ability to setup and maintain a development environment is a plus.
- Global SEO Experience is a Plus
