Senior Software Engineer

Bandwidth is one of the largest telecom companies in the nation, helping over 500 wholesale customers and thousands of enterprise accounts leverage communications as a tool for innovation. The company was founded in 1999 as a reseller of connectivity solutions, getting into the voice business when it recognized a need for more nimble voice solutions.

We are looking for a passionate and talented Sr. Software Engineer to join our growing team and help take our applications to the next level. You will be given a high level of responsibility with the freedom and the potential to make an immediate impact.

• Be a part of a high functioning, fast-moving team, working with the latest tools and technologies
• Grow as an engineer through deep collaboration with exceptionally talented colleagues
• Write lots of code, mostly in Java

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience, preferably Java
• Understanding of producing and consuming RESTful web service APIs
• Experience with test frameworks and patterns using jUnit, mock objects, and test driven development.
• Developing in a Linux/Unix environment using Git or Mercurial for source control.
• Experience with Amazon web services (AWS, S3, EC2) is a plus.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Jenkins
