Senior Java Application Developer

- Participate in planning, development and testing of key features - Perform design, code, and unit test software on a predefined schedule using technologies, techniques, and tools to ensure high quality, performance, and reliability, at varying levels of complexity. - Following department coding standards, write well documented programs that perform effectively and efficiently. - Performs system analysis and design in accordance with established procedures and policies. Provides accurate estimate of time needed to complete work. - Will develop test automation scripts with Selenium, Java, CA LISA, SOAPUI and other tools - Provides support for specification, design, testing, deployment, documentation and production.

- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent - 3 - 6 years' of experience implementing high quality production software using the following technologies: JSF, Java, JSP, JavaScripts, DOJO JavaScript, ESB, JMS, JDBC and other J2EE technologies. - Experience working with Apache Camel or other EBA a must, Hibernate, Spring, Web 2.0 technologies including AJAX, DOJO JavaScript, JSON, Web Services, XML, SQL Stored Procedure - Programming experience on both UNIX and Windows platforms required including basic scripting knowledge - Knowledge of OOP/OOD patterns - Experience working with at least one RDBMS; preferably Oracle and/or SQL server - Working knowledge of Agile development methodology especially SCRUM **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** Preference will be given to candidates who have the following: - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and interdependently to resolve complex issues in a timely manner - Effective negotiator with excellent communication skills, both oral and written
