General Employment became one of the first publicly traded staffing firms in 1967 (NYSE-MKT: JOB), yet the goal remained – and remains today – to provide individualized, personal attention to every single client with their hiring or job search needs. In 1893, the Company fulfilled the demand for Engineering staffing as a one-desk hiring firm in Chicago. Today’s successor Company serves out of over 20 offices across 11 states within the US, providing contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire staffing solutions in IT, Engineering, Accounting, Light Industrial, and Skilled Trades.
