Systems Administrator

AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly-energetic Systems Administrator to provide support to a major test facility of the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. This position will reside at a satellite location, just miles away from the Naval Air Station.

• Manage a mid-sized computer cluster comprised primarily of Dell components, which run Windows 2008 R2 server
• Responsible for both hardware and software maintenance
• Basic user account support to include:
  • Creation and removal of user accounts
  • Manage user data including home directories, backup, and storage space

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator involving Windows OS
• Knowledge and experience with Active Directory (AD), specifically with configuring user accounts and permissions
• Prior experience managing Dell enterprise server hardware (rack, blade, SAN, switches, etc.) is required
• Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
• US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance, with SSBI investigation

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Security+ certification
