Summary

AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking Senior level Full Stack Software Developers to provide support to the architect, design and development of web and mobile applications in support of NAVAIR 4.0P. This is a lead position that will support the Air Worthiness and Cyberafe Directorate’s Electronic Flight Clearances (eFC), involving management of a CMMI Level 3 appraised team. The Software Developers will be a part of a small, Agile development team who will provide support from Patuxent River, MD.

Responsibilities

Implement we-based applications based on product owner requirements
Create a dynamic browser interface using the Angular framework
Develop RESTful server applications using UWSO2 technologies
Daily management of a CMMI Level 3 appraised Agile team.

Ideal Candidate

**Qualifications and Experience Required:**

* Minimum of 8 years’ relevant, full stack software engineering experience
* Minimum of 5 years’ programming experience with Java and C#, with an emphasis on object-oriented software development is required
* Ability to rapidly implement web-based applications from wireframe mockups and design prototypes
* Demonstrated understanding of HTTP, SOAP, and RESTful web services
* Full stack web application experience (database, SOA messaging, CSS/JavaScript)
* Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
* US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance is required.

**Desired Experience:**

* RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, H2, MySQL, and SQL Server
* Alfresco One or other similar CMS solutions
* WSO2 or other SOA solutions
* Building business workflows using BPM tools such as Activiti
* UI front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* DITA XML, XSLT, DTDs, schemas, and related technologies
* Cyber security practices for web application development

**Education:**

Bachelor’s Degree is required from an ABET accredited institution OR 8 years of relevant experience.
