AMEWAS is seeking an energetic and highly self-motivated individual to perform as a Software Developer to work with the Configuration Management Team and Build team in support of the Simulation Division located on the NAS at Patuxent River. This position will involve collaborating with configuration management personnel, developers, test engineers, and non-engineering personnel.
- Building, testing and deploying software releases
- Administering and maintaining version control software
- Automation of build(s), environment test/health and tools
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 2 years of software development, which could include college
- Experience in software development using software configuration management systems is preferred
- Proficient with one or more of the following scripting languages; C++, Perl or Python
- Experience with Installshield/installer scripts is preferred
- US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance
Education:
BS in Computer Science is highly desired or 2 years software development experience
