AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking an energetic and highly self-motivated individual to perform as an Avionics Engineer in support of the Aircraft Prototype Facility (APF) contract. The position for future efforts, will be part of a fast paced and exciting empowered team chartered to conduct Aircraft Modifications. The position shall apply engineering principles to research, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, and test wide band SATCOM architecture systems.
- Interface daily with the Senior Systems Engineer in the review and generation of Wide Band SATCOM project related requirements
- Implementation of requirements in the software and hardware development efforts
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least 10 years’ relevant Systems Engineering experience
- NAVAIR IPT experience (Preferred)
- Avionics Experience
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline is required
- DAWIA Level 1 certification in T&E
