Our client is prime on a government program that provides the IT infrastructure engineering for classified and unclassified networks worldwide. They are looking to add a Technical Writer to their team immediately!

The technical writer/editor will be responsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents including system design, system integration, system operations, testing, and user documentation. They will work with systems engineers as part of a team that introduces new technologies and/or improves existing technologies to ensure that the solutions are fully documented. They will also ensure that all documentation meets DIA-established formatting guidelines.

• TS/SCI Clearance
• Experience writing technical document copy for various types of documents for a program/project of similar complexity
• Experience generating style templates or adapt templates and ensure proper formatting
• Strong written communication skills Proficient with MS office software

Desired:

• Understanding of IT Infrastructure systems
• Understanding of systems engineering and associated documentation
• Experience in documenting engineering design and associated engineering drawings
• Experience preparing reports, responses, and briefings targeted to a wide range of audiences
