Junior Accountant for HVAC Program Receivables

AIG's Warrant Finance group is seeking a Jr. Accountant - HVAC Program Receivables for its Jeffersonville, IN location. The right individual will manage invoicing and related activity for high volume HVAC programs. This person will record transactions/JEs in the General Ledger for sales, ar, COGS, premium and other payables.

• Post batch transaction history in proprietary systems for reporting to NY.
• Manage collection of AR and work with clients and account managers to resolve past due balances and payment discrepancies
• Develop and implement process improvements for HVAC programs.
• Maintain internal controls.
• Support new program launches and systems testing.
• Other duties as assigned, including the backup of other roles.

• B.A. / B.S. degree is required in Accounting, Fiance and/or related discipline.
• 1 or more years of overall business experience. Previous accounting experience is most helpful.
• Strong accounting and software skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office: strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
• Cash management/reporting software launch experience is preferred.
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work professionally with clients.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills are essential.
