Summary

AGCO is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Electronics Functional Group (EFG) Systems Engineering team in Hesston, KS. The Systems Engineer will mainly be responsible for providing design and technical expertise on current and new AGCO Machine Control and Guidance products. Additionally, the Systems Engineer will participate in the design and development of new product concepts and complex engineering projects. Relocation assistance is available to the Hesston, KS area for this position and open to candidates who require sponsorship to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver assigned technical and design tasks on time in the development schedule for assigned products
  • Provide support during prototype and test phases using proven Engineering principles to achieve design objectives of EFG components or projects
  • Collaborate with Test Group to establish validation plans
  • Assist with providing clear technical and design communication to EFG Product Management and Worldwide Design Centers
Ideal Candidate

Required Qualifications of the Systems Engineer

  • 4+ years of experience in all aspects of the Product Development life cycle
  • Experience working with multiple technical and engineering groups to deliver products and solutions that meet customer needs
  • Working knowledge of the design and development of off-highway mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems

Preferred Qualifications of the Systems Engineer:

  • Experience with Agricultural or Heavy Duty Equipment
  • Experience developing new and emerging technologies and integrating them into a long term product strategy and architecture

Education of the Systems Engineer:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering
