This is an on-going part time opportunity for an intern majoring in business or human resources (graduate or undergrad) to work with a corporate recruiting shared service group. The ideal candidate will gain valuable professional experience in recruiting for a global company that will complement their natural ability to connect with and assess people. The ideal candidate will be available now and will work a varied schedule of 20 to 29 hours per week throughout the school semester.
- Assist corporate recruiters with the full recruiting life cycle.
- Confer with HR and hiring managers on open positions and candidates
- Review Resumes and candidate assessments
- Update info in Applicant Tracking System
- Revise job specifications/descriptions
- Create job ads/postings
- Passive candidate sourcing/recruiting
- Using LinkedIn, Indeed, Google, etc. for passive sourcing
- Screen candidate submissions
- Conduct phone screens with candidates
- Interview scheduling
- Interview travel arrangements & expense processing
- Reference and background checking
- Preparation of offers
- Graduate or undergraduate student in business or human resources
- Prior Recruiting or Human Resources internship or work experience is a major plus
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications-MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Comfortable working with confidential information
