Maintenance Technician

The person hired for the position of Maintenance Technician will provide support to maintenance and manufacturing operations by completing technical projects and supporting engineering projects.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and components
• Perform welding, millwright and basic machining tasks
• Provide support for AC and DC drive systems
• Responsible for area EHS/5S assignments
• Generate, modify and perform Preventative Maintenance procedures
• Apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to maximize machine availability
• Compliance with all policies and applicable laws and regulations
• Active participation & involvement in reliability, optimization and continuous improvement efforts
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

This position will require:

• Working any shift available including but not limited to 1st, 2nd, 3rd or a rotating shift depending on shift availability
• Working an 8 or 12 hour shift depending on shift availability

This position may require:

• Weekend work
• Working overtime
• Working on holidays as needed
• Short notice shift coverage

Basic Qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Minimum five (5) years of maintenance experience OR possess a two (2) year technical degree or diploma in a maintenance field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience troubleshooting and problem solving in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with troubleshooting electronic and/or mechanical equipment
• Experience running basic machining equipment (turning, milling, welding)
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple projects
