3M is seeking a Maintenance Multi Skill Craft for the Abrasive Systems Division located in Ames, IA. Ready to be part of what's next?

3M is seeking qualified applicants for Maintenance Multi Skill Craft position at the Ames, IA Plant. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated and work well in teams.

• Troubleshoot and perform mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic equipment repairs
• Lead and oversee manufacturing and facilities equipment preventative maintenance and repairs
• Lead modifications to equipment which optimize performance and reliability
• Prioritize work to address constraint equipment
• Work with business team members to coordinate and plan work

Basic Qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience OR possess a two (2) year technical degree in a maintenance field
• Experience working with computerized equipment control systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience
• Possess an Associate's degree in a technical discipline such as Electro-Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or Robotics and Automation
• Experience troubleshooting and problem solving in a manufacturing environment
