Electrical Engineer - Mid Level

Founded in 2003, 3 Phoenix, Inc. (3Pi) is a small business focused on providing technology products and services to the Department of Defense and Industry.

We design hardware, develope algorithms, write firmware and software, integrate and test a wide range of systems providing innovative capabilities for our customers.

The successful candidate will be capable of leading in the design, development, and integration of innovative radar, sonar, and ISR systems. The position requires broad experience in embedded hardware, firmware, and software development at the board, assembly and system level. The position requires a person that exhibits the ability to work over a range of development platforms and on integrate product teams.

• MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• Clear understanding of Electrical Engineering design process and the usage of schematic capture and PCB design tools
• Strong understanding of a diverse range of lab equipment
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware, software, and firmware design concepts
• Strong debug and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers and customers. (written & verbal)
• Strong attention to details, highly organized
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
• Ability to obtain appropriate personnel clearance (i.e. U.S. Citizenship required)
