CINEMATIC ANIMATOR - WWE2K - TEMPORARY

Headquartered just north of San Francisco, with offices spanning the globe across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia, 2K is a videogame publisher managing some of the most creative, respected and premium brands in games today.

Visual Concepts is looking for hard-working, skilled animators to join the 2K Sports team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will help create AAA in-game cinematics using high-quality motion capture animation. You will work with the team’s Lead Animator in a team of animators to create compelling visuals in a fun and challenging work environment.

• Clean-up and edit motion capture data
• Create cameras based on animatics
• Animate props and other cinematic assets
• Create high quality facial expressions/lip-sync
• Implement in-game attributes

• Experience in Motionbuilder is a must
• Character animation experience(Both key-frame and motion capture)
• Experience with blend shape facial rigs, lip-sync and facial expressions
• Ability to collaborate and work side by side with a team of animators
• Ability to take direction well
• Able to respond elegantly to difficult creative changes, often late in the process
• Self-motivated towards solving creative problems
• Experience editing motion-capture animation data
• Game industry experience is a plus
• Fan of sports entertainment is a plus
